Sally Geckeler is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology from The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, before entering the business world of sales, purchasing and marketing. Sally’s call to counseling came twenty-five years later, which led her to receive a Masters of Science in Professional Counseling from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia in 2011.
Sally works with adults, adolescents, and pre-teens who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, communication challenges, and issues of loss through death, divorce or abandonment. She has received specialized training in working with individuals who have experienced trauma due to physical, sexual and emotional abuse as well as post-traumatic stress disorder related issues. She desires to help clients achieve a sense of peace and self-awareness by gaining insight into their past and current family dynamics and to assist them as they explore spiritual and emotional issues in a safe environment. She believes individuals will find balance and purpose as they seek to integrate their belief system into their lifestyle.
Sally is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia (LPCA-GA).
